MoveBuddy is designed to work locally on your device. No accounts, no ads, no camera, no microphone, no screen recording, and no external tracking.
MoveBuddy stores settings locally, such as language, reminder interval, selected character, timer preferences, and optional break history.
Break history can include completed, snoozed, or skipped breaks, date, exercise, character, and rep goal. This is used to run the app and show your local summary.
The launch version does not transmit your settings, exercise history, browsing activity, screen contents, or system usage to MoveBuddy servers or third-party services.
MoveBuddy may check local system idle time to avoid interrupting you while you are away. That check happens on device and is not transmitted.
MoveBuddy may open your mail app, this website, or the hosted Tally feedback form when you choose to send feedback. Your message can include your comments and optional email address, and is used only for support and product improvement.
Please do not include medical information or sensitive data in feedback messages.
The launch version is free. MoveBuddy does not include payment SDKs, ads, social SDKs, or external analytics SDKs.
Local settings and history remain until you reset data, delete the app, or remove the local app container managed by the system.
